"Sisu"

Sisu is a result of a wanted combination, and when her dam finally got pregnant, after all difficulties Sisu (engl. "guts") was the only one to survive. And even that was far from a simple thing... after first days of critical care and two weeks of sleepless nights because of bottle feeding he grew and developed very nicely and of course, being handled so much by human beings since his first days, he is "almost a human". We thought he is a true fighter and when registering him talked to my good friend Marcia Joslyn who told us to use his great grandsire's name - Starfighter. He later moved to my mom is is now her Joy of Life. He did not stay in the family because of his stunning appearance but because he was too precious to be sold. We are however happy to see that he has grown up a well-built, sound moving young dog. He has a wonderful character and hopefully his pedigree will bring us something nice in the future.

Sisun tarina on luku sinänsä. Kun pitkään toivomamme yhdistelmä lopulta toteutui, vain yksi pentu jäi eloon. Sekään ei ollut itsestäänselvyys... ensimmäisten päivien teho-osasto -toiminta ja sittemmin parin viikon ajan säännölliset yöheräämiset ruokkimaan pentua tuttipullolla... töissä Sisu kulki mukana punaisessa pipossa ja lämpötyynyin varustellussa laatikossa, pitihän ruokaa saada aika ajoin. Sisu on Taistelija, ja hyvä ystäväni Marcia Joslyn antoi luvan käyttää isoisoisän nimeä Starfighter. Paapotusta pennusta kasvoi komea nuorimies, joka on kuin ihmisen mieli. Sisu jäi äidilleni koska kaiken työn jälkeen se oli liian arvokas myytäväksi. Iloksemme pojasta kehittyi kauniisti rakentunut, hyvin liikkuva koira, jolla toivottavasti on jalostuksellisesti jotain annettavaa tulevaisuudessa. Näyttelyissä Sisu kävi muutaman kerran, ja nyt saatuaan kaksi serttiä junioriluokasta se vetäytyy hetkeksi nauttimaan maalaiselämän riemuista.
